Health and Safety Forum - February

Chemistry Australia NSW Health and Safety Forum.

Chemistry Australia and industry collegaues gathered on Wednesday 12 February to hear the results from the 2018 Health & Safety Performance Report, along with a discussion on the current review of the Workplace Exposure Standards.

The H&S Report highlights included:

  • The sector remains one of the safest sectors in Australia
  • Improved performance for the 15th consecutive year
  • On track to meet the industry’s 2022 workplace injury reduction target of 30 per cent
  • Insights into areas for future improvement 
  • New data highlighting emerging trends in employment age distribution and LTI risk

The Forum was held at the Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport Hotel & Conference Centre, 241 O'Riordan Street, Mascot, NSW.
