Second annual Industry Awards celebrates member's achievements

Chemistry Australia hosted its second annual Industry Awards event on 1 May 2024. Held at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne, 300 guests comprised of members and suppliers, sponsors, customers, service providers, government and business stakeholders gathered to celebrate the Australian chemistry industry.
The Awards featured a gala dinner and performances by Australian musical act Belle Lynch, Indigenous dance group Djarlo, and breakfast radio announcer and TV personality Adam Spencer as Master of Ceremonies. The Hon. Minister Tanya Plibersek MP provided a video message for the evening.
For the first time, the awards included a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion award, alongside awards for Net Zero Transition, Circular Economy, Young Leader, Health, Safety & Environment, and Hall of Fame.
