Interface Functions 2015

In 2015, our Interface Functions travelled to Melbourne and Sydney to strengthen connections with the newly elected Victorian Government and returned New South Wales Government.

We were also pleased to have numerous guests from the research sector, industry supply chains, partners and other stakeholders join us at the Functions to build networks.

These events were a great success and highly valued by all attendees.

Victorian Interface Function: Melbourne, 21 May 2015

Our inaugural Victorian Interface event saw more than 90 members and representatives from industry, Victorian Government departments and regulators, supply chain partners and the research sector mixing and forging new business networks.

We were delighted to have Guest of Honour, the Hon Lily D’Ambrosio MP, then Minister for Industry and Minister for Energy and Resources attend and address guests, as well as engaging in valuable two-way dialogue about issues facing the chemistry industry.

NSW Interface Function: Sydney, 29 July 2015

Around 60 representatives from the industry, business and education and research sectors attended the successful NSW Interface Function in Sydney.

Guest of Honour the Hon Anthony Roberts MP, Minister for Industry, Resources and Energy spoke to attendees about the strategic significance of the chemistry industry in NSW, and the government's work in areas critical to the industry's future.
