New global alliance to end plastic waste launched in London
LONDON – An alliance of global companies across the plastics and consumer goods industry value chain today launched a new initiative to end global plastic waste.
The Alliance to End Plastic Waste has developed a four-pillar approach to tackling the global problem of plastic waste and will bring to scale solutions that will minimize and manage plastic waste and promote solutions for used plastics by helping to enable a circular economy.
The Alliance is made up of nearly 30 member companies representing organisations located throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
