C&PMIN Annual Innovation Showcase Symposium

C&PMIN invites you to attend the 2nd Annual Innovation Showcase Symposium, which will showcase industry-driven research and the outcomes that industry-university collaboration can achieve.

C&PMIN (the Chemicals and Plastics Manufacturing Innovation Network and Training Program) is an inter-disciplinary training program that supports PhD students working with leading companies to accelerate research and provide a real-world learning environment. This partnership between Monash University and Chemistry Australia is supported by Victorian Government funding.

We encourage members to attend the Symposium and learn more about the industry-research collaborations made possible through C&PMIN.

Date: Thursday 20 July 2017
Cost: Free
Location: Green Chemical Futures, 13 Rainforest Walk, Monash University, Clayton
Time: 9:30am - 5:00pm (partial day tickets available; see program below)

Why attend

Hear from other businesses in the industry about the tangible and proven benefits of innovation and industry-focused, outcome-based research projects, which support individual businesses and the sector as a whole.

Learn about new opportunities for your organisation to become involved in upcoming C&PMIN activities.

Visit the exhibition to see the wares and research interests of current C&PMIN members.

Companies looking to hire graduates may be interested in the presentations by PhD researchers completing Graduate Research Innovation Projects (GRIPs). These students will share their experiences from their time interning or working on-site in the industry, and the business-ready skills gained through this bespoke training program.
