Dr. Alireza Rezai (Eman) is Managing Director of BASF Australia and Business Management Mining Solutions.

With more than 17 years of experience across the chemicals and mining sectors, he has held senior leadership positions spanning Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong and Germany.

Throughout his career, Eman has led commercial, strategic and operational initiatives across sales, product management, business development and research & development.

Eman holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and is passionate about driving innovation, sustainable growth and strong customer partnerships.

As Group Executive and President of Specialty Mining Chemicals at ASX-listed Orica, Andrew holds full P&L accountability for one of Orica’s three global segments.

Prior to this, Andrew was Chief Development and Sustainability Officer undertaking a series of portfolio shaping acquisitions and increased its market capitalisation by ~15 per cent, reducing the Company’s Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42 per cent (from its 2019 baseline) and accelerating Orica’s carbon reduction targets.

Prior to joining Orica, Andrew held several executive roles at a FTSE listed engineering and construction company, including Chief Executive Officer of Wood’s largest business unit - Asset Solutions Americas with more than 18,000 employees. Andrew has lived in various locations around the world and is currently based in Melbourne, Australia.

Tim Kehoe currently serves as the Managing Director for Air Liquide Pacific.

Based in Melbourne, Tim has overall accountability for Air Liquide’s industrial and medical gases operations and commercial activities in Australia and New Zealand. Tim joined Air Liquide in 2019 and became Managing Director in 2021.

Prior to joining Air Liquide, Tim held prominent senior management positions within the logistics and petroleum industries in Australia.

Penny is Executive Vice President, Chlor Alkali at IXOM, one of Australia and New Zealand's largest chemical manufacturing and distribution businesses, supplying essential chemicals and technology solutions to sectors including water, mining, oil and gas, food and beverage, industrial and infrastructure.

Penny has more than 20 years' experience in senior commercial and technical roles spanning technology commercialisation, manufacturing, business development, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and general management.

Penny is passionate about strengthening Australia's sovereign chemical manufacturing capability and the critical role the chemistry industry plays in supporting public health, water security, food production, advanced manufacturing and the energy transition. As a Director of Chemistry Australia, she advocates for policies that encourage investment, foster innovation and enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of Australia's chemicals sector.

Penny holds an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), First Class Honours in Chemical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Russell Schroeter has been a Board member of PACIA since 2008.  Russell joined SNF (Australia) Pty Ltd in April 2002 as the General Manager and was appointed to the Board in November 2002. During that time SNF (Australia) Pty Ltd has completed the building of an emulsion flocculant plant and commissioned it in June 2003.

Prior to joining SNF, Russell worked with Nalco in various sales and marketing roles in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.  Russell graduated from the Gordon Institute of Technology in 1976 with a Bachelor of Applied Science.

Grant Lukey has been the CEO & Managing Director of Coogee Chemicals since 2015. Coogee is a privately held diversified chemical manufacturer and bulk chemical and fuel terminal storage services provider. Prior to joining Coogee, Grant was the General Manager of a company connected with Fletcher Building Limited that developed and licensed ‘green’ concrete technology. He is currently a director on the Kwinana Industries Council (KIC) and a member of Western Australia’s Ministerial Taskforce – Future Battery & Critical Minerals Industries.

Grant completed his Chemical Engineering degree at the University of Melbourne in 1996. He has a PhD in minerals processing and extractive metallurgy, holds a Graduate Diploma of Law and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.

Leigh was appointed General Manager Chemicals in December 2024, having previously served as General Manager CSBP Ammonia/Ammonium Nitrate from August 2022. Prior to this, he was Production Manager Ammonia/Ammonia Nitrate.

Leigh joined CSBP in 2003 as a Process Engineer and has held various roles across WesCEF’s businesses in Production, Operations and Process Safety.

Leigh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering), a Bachelor of Applied Science (Applied Chemistry) and a Certificate of Business Administration from Curtin University.

Cameron joined FBT Transwest as Managing Director in 2009. Prior to this, Cameron has held senior roles within the Transport and Logistics Industry in a career that commenced in 1986 at United Tankers. He has worked in the Industry for businesses providing specialised services for the chemical, plastics and food sectors.

A career highlight was in 1998 when he was awarded the Young Western Australian Transport and Logistics Professional of the Year.He is on the Board of the Victorian Transport Association (VTA) and holds the position of Vice President. Cameron is also Deputy Chairman of the National Bulk Tanker Association (NBTA) and on the board of ARTIO – Vic.

Cameron completed his education at MBS and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the CEO Institute.
